Can You Smell the Oranges?

It’s dawn now and the fog is starting to lift. You’ve been driving all night with four friends crammed in your Civic. A small SUV passes with Hokie flags and magnets. You honk your horn and your four friends pump their fist in the air. The Hokies in the neighboring vehicle smile and wave. You see, you’re about to watch Tyrod Taylor and the Hokies dominate the Kansas MOhawks in the Orange Bowl.
Your heart starts pounding. There’s a growing tingling sensation in the back of your neck; your hair is standing on end. Then it starts…Enter Sandman.
Can you feel the anticipation building? Can you picture the Hokies streaking down the field rocking the JayHawks? They only ranked team they beat all year was Kansas State who was only ranked #24 at the time, is no longer ranked, and only went 5-7 on the season. The only ‘good’ team they played all year was Missouri and they lost.
Can you smell the Oranges?
